I am honored to deliver this speech. The global pandemic has had a tremendous impact on various industries, causing difficulties for many. However, with everyone's joint efforts, we have finally reached the 26th anniversary of our association. In the first half of this year, Hong Kong gradually returned to normalcy and became vibrant again, and the economy has gradually returned to a positive track. However, the progress of some infrastructure projects has also led to a shortage of manpower and an increase in labor costs in the industry. To meet the demand, many types of work require the introduction of foreign labor. In addition, the government has continued to promote the qualification framework assessment, which has been our association's goal to ensure recognition of middle-level talents in society. The development opportunities in the Greater Bay Area and the encouragement of cross-border development and talent exchange by the two governments have provided us with multiple channels for development. We believe that everyone can seize future opportunities.

In the post-pandemic era, our association's members have actively participated in various exchange activities, communicated with the government, and formulated the development direction of our association. In this era of rapid technological development, our association's webmaster, Mr. Lin, has worked hard to update our website, making it easier for our members and users to obtain information. After the website is updated, the system will automatically notify each member via email, so that we can keep in close communication and exchange with all members. Therefore, we ask all members to update their email addresses and contact numbers, so that we can send our association's information to everyone in a timely manner and keep in touch.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of our association, the Council has passed the replacement of new members and registration of engineering manager certificates, and we will notify every one of the details as soon as possible.
